God Bless America (non-hypocritical version)


This parody was inspired by the sickening display of our Congress preening piously patriotic post-911 when they gathered together on the capitol steps to sing in unison "God Bless America" as the TV camaras rolled. If they weren't such flaming hypocrites, they might have sung the following lyric instead:


first verse:

God bless America,
Call evil good!
Stand beside her, don't chide her
Even though it will debase your Godhood!

From the White House
To the Congress
Though our hands be stained with blood!

Our home... suite... HUD!

Sure we're evil, downright medieval,
